area to attend its showing on June 20th at 10AM at the Fleur Cinema,
4545 Fleur Drive. The activities begin at 10AM and the film starts
promptly at 11. There will be a weighted auction, costume contest,
sing-a-long, drawing for Global prizes, and more! Complete

| Site News: June Benefit Screening of Serenity Is Set! |
|
As of today, Minneapolis, MN just went solid with a screening date, time, and place.
I'm pleased to announce that Riverview Theater in Minneapolis, MN will be hosting the Serenity Now Equality Now benefit screening of Serenity on Saturday June 23 at 11:30 pm. Tickets and other details TBA. Watch www.mnfirefly.com for updates and details as they become available.
There isn't a shortage of jobs to do at the day of the screening and work prior to the screening, so it isn't too early to volunteer to help. =)

| 2007 Serenity Benefit Screening Date Survey |
|
It is very near the time for us to schedule a date to screen Serenity in June to benefit Equality Now, an international women's rights organization.
Last year the screening was held on Thursday June 22, 9:30 pm at Riverview Theater and had an attendance of 413, raising $2,015 for Equality Now. This was in response to the global effort known as Can't Stop The Serenity, as described at www.cantstoptheserenity.com. The target date of June 23rd was chosen to acknowledge Joss Whedon's birthday and show our appreciation by raising money for his favorite charity, Equality Now. The global screenings donations totalled more than $63,000.
We had so much fun doing it last year, we're doing it again.

| CSTS Poster & T shirt Art ~Vote!~ |

The four finalists for the design of the 2007 CSTS promo materials
(including primary flyers and the t-shirts) are now up for voting at
http://www.cantstop theserenity. com/2007design . Please take a good,
hard look at all four, and vote ONCE for your favorite. Voting will
be open to the public until 7:00 pm (GMT-6) on Friday, 15 December
2006.
The artist who submitted the winning design will get three t-shirts
with their logo (sizes of their choosing), and a framed flyer from the
national event press push.
Names of the artists will be revealed along with the winner after the
conclusion of voting, on Saturday, 16 December.
